Aga’s Wholesome Foods Limited is an agro-processing company that manufactures natural, allergen free beverage powders and low sodium seasoning powders from nutrient dense crops grown in Africa
We believe that Africa has the most nutritious foods in the world. We are passionate about promoting these foods through ready to use products, made from our home grown nutrient dense ingredients such as Fonio, Baobab, Dates, Tigernuts, Cocoa, Moringa and our local herbs and spices.

Our products serve as healthy and sustainable options for allergy prone children, adults on a low sodium diet especially people living with high blood pressure, and healthy living enthusiasts.
Our raw materials are sourced from smallholder farmers in Nigeria, who practice sustainable farming methods.
In our bid to reduce post-harvest loss in Nigeria which is estimated to be over 45% as of 2020, we process our raw materials to dry products, which extends their shelf life and in turn creates market access and returns for farmer products.
Every purchase from us contributes to provision of sustainable incomes to small holder farmers in Northern Nigeria who grow our raw materials. A percentage of our income is also dedicated to sponsoring nutrition programs.

The story of Aga’s Wholesome Foods started in 2015 after I had my first baby and was 30kgs heavier. In a bid to lose the postpartum weight, I dabbled into the healthy lifestyle and fell in love with it. Before then I didn’t even know the meaning of calories ‘lol’
Based on my research for healthier food options, I discovered that Nigeria was blessed with a wide variety of nutritious foods, which I didn’t pay much attention to while growing up in Jos, Plateau State.
In fact there were so many companies overseas that were established solely to sell these superfoods which includes Fonio (Acha), Baobab Fruit Powder (‘Madaran Kuka’), Moringa Leaf Powder (Zogale), Dates Fruit Powder (Dabino) and Tigernuts (Aya)
I saw the market opportunity, and also the fact that a lot of people in Lagos and other major cities in Nigeria were not aware of the benefits of these foods and how to use them. So we took it upon ourselves to educate and enlighten people on these foods, and also make them available in ready to use packs.
We have also developed a range of unique product blends in response to market needs using nutritious, locally sourced African ingredients. They include our allergen free beverage powders, low sodium seasoning powders and immune boosters.
Over the past years, we have successfully introduced these foods to thousands of families in Nigeria and beyond.
Aga’s Wholesome started from my kitchen as a one man operation in July 2017, and took off fully in January 2018. So far, we have grown to a team of over 10 staff and moved to a factory location, and we are grateful for our customers who trust us, and are invested in our growth.
We are committed to providing our customers with excellent product quality, and that is why they keep coming back. We are also invested in consumer education, especially with respect to healthy living.
Everything we do at Aga’s Wholesome Foods Limited is geared towards promoting good health and well being, reducing the prevalence of lifestyle diseases in Nigeria and also promoting our local African ingredients.
